FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN

BEFORE: Like many builder kitchens, this room featured standard all-white finishes, generic appliances and a lack of style. The kitchen's island bled into the family room area, creating impracticality. At any time, two or three activities could collide in the space.

BEFORE: The entryway to this house was not especially welcoming. The space was static, bland and dark. A 25-foot ceiling went unnoticed.
